Hi, my name is Tiffany Maglaya. On September 11,2001; I was a junior in highschool. I was four months pregnant. I can remember not wanting to go to school that day. I just had a bad feeling about school, I had a feeling that I was going to get into an argument or something like that. I ended up going anyway. I can remember being in my first hour class, spanish, a class I hate, and I couldn't wait to go to sociology, second hour. Well when the bell rang, I rememeber going downstairs cause that's where my locker is, and I felt this weird presence in the halls. It was amazingly quiet. Then I walked into my class and I saw the t.v. I still had no idea what was going on when my teacher Mr. Hickey said that a plan has crashed into the world trade center. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears! I was in total shock! I couldn't believe that soemthing that horrible could happen to us! Then I watched as the second plane crashed into the second twin tower and the huge explosion! It was like watching a movie in slow motion! It wasn't reality to me! Actually looking bad one year later it still isn't reality for me! It's weird cause I feel like we were at a great loss and we were really stupid an getting lazy with the way we ran things. But unlike many others, I feel that the worst is yet to come!
