NMAH Story: Story
I remember waking up and going downstairs where i found my mom watching TV she told what had happened and i barely understood i didnt really =know what the Trade toweres were used for or where they were. I then realized more of what they were and learned that it was a terrorist attack. i was astounded I couldnt belive our country had been hit. It seemed unreal but all of it didnt hit untill the next day when i was sittng in my History class when my teacher vrought out and article for the news paper and began reading it. It was so honest pure and incredible that by the end of the article my teacher and most of the class was in tears we couldnt belive it had happend to us the stuff we read about that happens in other countries or decades before.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
i think it had changed every american life whether we want to admit it or if we dont even know the suttle chnges it is making on us. I know feel more vulnerable and that our country isnt untouchable so to speak.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think the people who were murdered, the poepl who lost someone and the firefighters who risked their lives and became somones hero, I also think that in a way it was what america needed it has brought us closer and more united in a way undescribable it has showed us how much stregth we never knew we had too.
NMAH Story: Flag
yes i have flown one in my locker and I now have more respect for it and understand my the people made it and what they were feeling at the time. i also now know more how much importance a symbol can hold for people
