A friend and coworker called me at my jobsite to turn on the radio. I eventually went to a nearby T.V. store to see the replays of events for myself.

I'm more aware of things, my surroundings, my loved ones, my ambitions.

It should be remembered that hundreds of professionals rushed into danger that day.
It should be remembered that ordinary Americans everywhere, did extraordinary things that day.
It should be remembered that children suddenly became adults that day.
It should be remembered how very lucky we all are that Gore wasn't President that day.

I did and still do fly an American Flag after the 11th. My feelings about the flag have not changed. I love the flag. I'm proud to see it flown, and I'm proud to know proper flag-display/handling rules. It's the most recognized image in the world.
