I was in my 10th grade English Class with Mrs. Quirk when the attacks on 9/11/01. We saw the second crash live on T.V. and it hurt to watch. We were told by a fellow student who was down at the office when the news came on about the first crash.

My life changed since 9/11. I want to join the military more then ever and I have noticed that some rights have changed as well. I also have noticed that i have a greater respect for everyone after 9/11.

We should remember al the people who went to war or who were in those planes or buildings. We hsould all respect them greatly.

At my house we flew an American Flag before 9/11. My feeling after 9/11 changed about the flag because it now meant more then just an American symbol, it was a symbol of freedom and rememberance.
