I was watching the news that morning before going off to work. I could not pull myself away from the TV, called into work and stated I would be late. They did not know what was happening, told them to turn on the TV. I finally did go to work only to sit with them all glued to the television for hours. I cried many times.

I am more cautious about who is around me, also constantly looking to the skies with any form of aircraft going over. I am more aware of my surroundings.

The people lost, the families of the lost, the people that gave their lives to try to save others. How the entire country came together as one with heartache and pain. I felt like I was there with all of them.

Yes I did fly our flag. I have always respected the flag of our country but, after that day, I feel it made me have much more respect for it due to the pain, tears, caring, help and love that was shown by our fellow americans. That day was devistating for me. I appreciate the fact I live in USA! I stand very proud.
