NMAH Story: Story

My husband had surgery and we were sleeping in. My mom called to tell me about this most terrible act of terrorism. I wanted to run and get my children. I was sick for the families that had lost ther loved ones. I coulnt imagine the sadness they must be feeling. It was incredible the bravery of our fellow citizens. The Firemen and women, the Police to run in to try and save others while knowing they might not come out of this alive. I
know I couldn't do the same if I was put in there place.
The families of the pasengers on flight 93 I know are saddened also, but they saved our Country from another
act of terrorism, who knows how many more of our fellow
country men, women, children would have been lost if that plane was allowed to go on. Thank you all the BRAVE people who do there awesome jobs everyday of there lives. We are
so lucky to have you as fellow country men.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

Yes my life has changed. I live day to day. I tell my family and friends I love them more often. You notice the beauty in the small things you see. You notice the way your children look at things differently.

NMAH Story: Remembered

About how brave our country is. How wonderful and supportive our President is. I am thankful President Bush was our president. He knows exactly how to handle this.

NMAH Story: Flag

Yes, we had flags on our windows, our clothes, our car.
My love for our flag has growen since Sept. 11. I love to look at it every day.
