I work in a Doctor's office in Chattanooga, TN... I was working the front desk and the xray tech walked through and said "You won't believe this, a plane just hit one of the twin towers in NY." We all commented what a freak accident that must have been... Then a few moments later... she came back and said "It's happened again"... and we then all said "O My God, its a terrorist attack..
" As the usual daily events unfolded in the office.. the patient's were all glued to the radio as were the staff... The doctor was late.. he didn't get to the office until late and we all knew why....

My life has changed in the way that I am 37 ( was 36 then of course) and what hit me so hard was that all those people were the same age as my husband and I... I cried so hard looking at the pics on the internet.. reading the stories.. I kept saying over and over.. These people are us...

I think the fact that we let our guard down should be remembered.. Never underestimate the power of the enemy.I

I wore a flag and I had a flag sticker on my car... I don't own an actual flag because I know the ritual entailed in caring for one and I don't want to abuse one.. I wouldn't be diligent enough to have one displayed... I love America and the our Flag... I always have...
