NMAH Story: Story

On the morning of September 11, I was waking up to the sound of my dad's voice saying, " Wake Up The Twin Towers In New York City Have been hit!"
Within the hour I was sitting in an akward silenced Social Studies classroom waiting for my vice principal to get on the intercom and tell us everything is going to be ok and no one was hurt. But I was wrong, he got on and said that, "the pentigon was crashed into and a plane crashed in Pensilvania and there were no servivors!"
Everyone just stared at a wall or blacked out for a little while, wishing that school would just get out so that we could all just be with our families and cry together, but insted we made it through the day together. I think that if we wern't together we would have felt like we had nothing to turn to and everything would be depressing.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

Yes, my life has deffanatly changed! I fell that America has come together and we support each other more. But I don't think that a tragadie has to happpen to make us realize that we our a country and we need to be togther, I think we could do that any ways. I deffanatly respect police and firefighter more. I now am inspired to become a firefighter to fall into my fathers footstep and make it onto FDNY.

NMAH Story: Remembered

I think that everything about September 11 should be remembered. But I think the most important thing that shoudl be rembered are the people that are willing to give up their lives to help save and rescue people. Also the volenters that gave their time and helped find missing people in all the rubble and debres. All the people that helped even in the smallest ways should get some type of award or honnor dedicated to each and every one of them.

NMAH Story: Flag

I have always had a very deep respect for the flag. But now more than ever I think everyone should look at the flag differently because it means so many things in just one way. It means freedom, liberty, justace, and so many other things.
