It was around 9:00am I was headed to the Equinox Fitness club @wall st where I work. I went into the Energy wear store to open up. A customer came into the store and we were talking, I asked her was it snowing outside she said no "why" We both looked out the window and we saw dust,papers and folders falling out of the sky. A announcement came across the loud speakers that a plane had just hit one of the towers and if we had anybody that we knew who worked there to check and see if they were alright. I have a aunt who worked for Morgan& stanley so I was worried about her, as I was leaving out of the store the building started to shake and thats when the second plane had hit. We were told to stay in and not to leave but I ran out anyway. There were hundreds of people running down wall st I tried to avoid getting knocked down so I ran back into the building. There were people from everywhere running into the building,as the tower fell the windows were covered with a grey smoke at this time I thought that I was going to dye so I called home and told my family that I loved them and I told My husband to make sure he took good care of my 1 year old son.There were people who worked in the trade center who came to my job wet,crying,no shoes on,and just confused. I just want to say that that was the worst day of my life not knowing if your going to see tomorrow,but so many people did not make it home to there family.I thank God everyday for saving my life and all those who made it out of the building.
