My story about September 11 is not a heroic one, or a devastating one. I was 1,000 miles away from the horrors of that day, sitting in my 7th grade Computer Technology class, listening to what had happened a few short hours before. As I was told I stared in shock at the blank screen in front of me, listening to the kids around me go "Woah", and "Oh, my God." When I got home I watched the T.V. for three hours, and couldn't believe that it had actually happened. I couldn't believe that so many lives were torn apart because of that day. I am still in shock over what happened that morning, but I have moved on, knowing that I lost nothing that day, I only gained.
