A colleague and myself were outside discussing the events that we had heard on the radio and were completely overwhelmed. As we stood there, we heard a loud boom, we thought oh no not another attack. We immediately went to find a tv and reached the 8th floor of our office building just in time to see the second tower collapse. We started crying at having just witnessed such a horror. Many months later, we realized almost simultaneously that what we had heard that day was the first tower collapsing. We work just 25-30 miles from where the Trade Center stood. Never did we imagine that we would bear witness to such a horrific, meaningless attack which will be with everyone as long as they remember. God Bless America and God Bless all those families and friends who will never see their loved ones again.
