My story is simple...I was sleeping when my family woke me to tell me a plane hit the World Trade Centers. I watched as eveything unfolded in front of my eyes on television and really didn't know what to say or think--all I could do was cry. I remembered being at the top of the WTC in 1989 looking over what seemed like the whole world. Everyday I am reminded of all the people whose lives changed forever that day. I have pictures of the view from atop the WTC that I look at from time to time, and realize how truly grand those buildings were and just how many people worked there and visited everyday. I will never forget that day as long as I may live and I hope everyone will someday understand how deeply significant a day September 11, 2001 is to America's history. God Bless America...
