911DA Story: Story
it was the hardin simmons president inaugeration. we were to get free chapel credit if we went. when i get there at 10 o'clock, they start praying for the people in new york and their families. i had no idea what we were praying for. i sat through the whole cerimonies and did't think about it again. latter that day i went to get my oil changed. there was a crowd around the samll tv.on the screen there was a reporter with a lot of smoke behind him. then i knew. i was in shock. speechless. about a minute after i saw that my mom called me from snyder. she asked how i was doing. i said i just found out. she talked to me for awhile, and then told me to go get gas. it was $5 a gallon in lubbock and on its way is what she said. latter i had to go to practice. on the golf course i was not able to concentrate. the events keep flashing through my head. my college experience will forever be altered and remebered for this. 9-11 will go down in the history books, but more importantly in will go down in the hearts and the mind of the world as the "attack on america"
