911DA Story: Story
One Day
We all became one.
One body in grief,
One color in the human race.
One day on September 11, 2001.
The day I realized we didn't own an American Flag.
Lives we will never forget.
Moms, dads, sons, brothers, sisters
taken too soon,
One day on September 11, 2001.
I say a prayer now when I board a flight.
I say a prayer for our nation
I am more aware of my freedom.
I am so proud I am an American.
One day on September 11, 2002.
