At the time, I was 7 months pregnant, and at hospital that I work at. We heard from a co-worker's girlfriend about the first plane, and just did not believe it. We then watched in horror on our little black and white tv we have in the lab as the second plane hit. We then got the calls saying a plane was headed for Philly, and could we all please come home. By then we were so confused, but the hospital went into a code for an external disaster, and none of us were allowed to leave. The building we are in is 22 storied tall, so we had no idea if we were a target or not. I was just so worried for my family, my mother was in Chicago for a business meeting. I was very worried for my unborn child, worried I was never going get to meet her.
