911DA Story: Story

?America, America,
God shed his grace on thee,
And crown thy good
With brotherhood
From sea to shinning sea.?
By Katherine Lee Bates

Till Time Is Dust

Gleaming,
In the morning sunlight,
Two faceted colossus?
Standing in a sea of smoke,
Crumble,
Startling the masses;
Yet in their wake,
Irrevocable,
Stands forever
The glisten of a nation,
Her people free,
Made of liberty,
And the blood,
Sweat and tears
Of countless folk,
Whose phantoms
Roam still
The plains
Of freedom,
They remain
Steadfast
In the midst
Of an irresolute
Heathen?s
Mindless violence;
Staunch
And resolute,
Truths still self-evident.
