It is a day that I will never forget. I remember standing in the day room in the Liebowitz unit of Cedars Nursing Home. I was assisting residents with their breakfast. The Today show was on. Just as I looked up to the t.v. I saw the first plane going into the building. I was stunned, I was unsure of what I had seen. As we all stood transfixed by what was going on suddenly the second plane flew into the second building. This is when we realized that our nation had been attacked. My first thought was of my three kids at home alone, and how frightened they must be, and then it dawned on me that my husband and dad were in danger. They work at a naval ship building facility. We were scared that more attacks would be coming, I was terrified that they may hit the shipyard. The yard was closed within the hour. It was a day that I will never forget, and the terrorists who did this thing now have to stand before God and justify that they did this for him and of course the virgins.
