I was listening to the radio when i heard a plane had crashed into the world trade center. I turned on the tv and saw one of the buildings on fire, with smoke billowing out from a giant hole in the side.

My life was not directly affected by Sept. 11, besides the fact i live in america. I know it should affect me more; but the only difference was i was watching the news and seeing what was happening. It still is a big deal but after a couple of months everything pretty much went back to normal.

I think all the victims and heroes should be remembered. They shouldnt just be remembered as statistics on the History Channel 50 years from now; they should have a memorial and something special every year on September 11th.

Yes, i knew the flag was a special symbol of our country, but my feelings have not changed much.
