NMAH Story: Story

I witnessed the history of September 11th in many ways. I was sitting in my chemistry class when a student in another class told my class that a plane hit one of the towers. Throughout the rest of the day, students, teachers, and I watched a variety of news channels to stay updated on what's going on. That night, my parents and I discussed what had happened that day. Every morning for the rest of the school year, my parents and I watched the news together before work and school. I got together with friends as well to discuss our feelings about 9/11, patriotism, and our country.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

My life has changed for the better since September 11, 2001. I have become more patriotic, displaying American flags on my car, in my yard, and in my room. I have also been more determined to stay on top of current issues. I now feel it's important to know what's going on witht he counry, and also the world.

NMAH Story: Remembered

We should definately remember the loved ones that lost their lives during this tragic event. God bless them and their families. We also need to remember the good as well. Who would of thought America would come together like we did. Every where someone went, there were flags being displayed. People were wearing red, white, and blue. Citizens who may not ever speak to each other held hands, helping the country become one big family. Let's remember the love that came out of this event.

NMAH Story: Flag

Yes, my family and I flew many flags after 9/11/01. We set up about 25 flags in our yard, 1 in my room, and 1 on both of the family's cars. I remember my father nad I drove around for ab out two hours after a preseason wrestling tournament just to try to fina an American flag. The American flag is a symbol of pride. It is used to show how proud we are to be Americans.
