NMAH Story: Story

I was at work on that day, doing paper work in the office when the phone rang. My coworker answered it and it was her husband telling her that 'they' had just hit the Worl Trade Center. Then a few minute later he called again and said that the World Trade Center had collapsed and that then Pentagon had been hit.We were all in shock, did'nt know what to do.We turned on the radio to listen. It was like an eery silence came over the store. No one was talking, just listening and thinking what was going to happen next. It was very scary. I remember doing alot of praying for everyone in New York and the United States. As with alot of people here, this was something we thought would never happen here. But then i got to thinking about it and it kinda of made me angry. I thought they don't know who they are messing with and they will be sorry. No one will ever break this great country apart! No One!!

NMAH Story: Life Changed

My life has changed since that herindous day. I have turned my life to God and was baptised not long after September 11th 2001. My life has really changed for the better.I am more at peace with myself and situations in the world today than I used to be. Before if scared me alot to talk about war and fighting. Now I can talk about it and know that I am in God's hands and everything will turn out for the best.

NMAH Story: Remembered

I believe this should be National Holiday here in the United States, to remember the ones that were lost, the ones that gave their lives and for all of us to never forget what happened on that day, that no one will ever take our Freedom away from us!!!My Father, Brother and 2 Uncles all served in the Military to keep this a Free country and I belive we should celebrate the memories of those that were lost and the ones that survived that day along with all Americans. This should never be forgotten!

NMAH Story: Flag

Yes, I have flown an American flag after September 11th and continue to fly the flag day and night 7 days a week 24 hours a day as do many people in this town that i live in. I want people to that I am proud to be an American, to be free and that I am proud of the flag and what it stands for!!
