NMAH Story: Story
I was in science class [second period] with Ms. Johnson. At the time, I already heard from other students about what happened but everything was confirmed when my teacher turned on the T.V. for all of us to watch. I remember feeling a sense of disbelief and shock that people could actually do something like that.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
Yes, my life was changed for a while after the 9/11 incident because my parents became more strict on where I went. I also grew to have a deeper respect and admiration for people like the firefighters and all that risked their lives.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think that all the people who risked their lives should always be remembered and have their own day where we can conmemorate the dead.
NMAH Story: Flag
I don't remember Flying an american flag after the event but I remember many people putting it in front of their houses and on their cars. I now look at the flag with more meaning. I see that our country is strong on freedom for the people and that we are willing to do what it takes to keep things that way. We became a more united nation.
