NMAH Story: Story
I was in 8th grade art class and i heard from my teacher. When that happened i didnt really know what the World Trade Centers were. But most of all the other kids did know what they were. The teacher turned on the tv and we were watching the news and it was playing the rerunes of the first tower being hit and as we were leaving class for next period the second tower was hit. We spent the whole day watching and kinda learning about the World Trade Center. It was a very emmotional day because some kids had family in new york and the teachers new all about the towers. It was a very wierd experiance for me as an 8th grader.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
Since the towers were hit i have learned alot more about them and have really stated looking up things on other important memorials and statues. I have also been to new york after it had happened and the site was the most increadible thing i 've ever seen. The area around was the most low key because people were praying a crying for what had happen. I now know alot about the things that go on around me because i have learned to take in what the news has to say and every thing is happening.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think that not just the figher fighters but that every person that worked there and if they know who was visiting in there should be remembered because not only did america suffer but the people there and there familys have suffered tramindously. Those who were in the buildings, there names should be on a wall or in the sidewalk or somewere next to the towers because they are the ones who should be most remebered.
NMAH Story: Flag
My family did fly an american flag and we always hyave a flag fly for now.
