On september 11,2001 I was taking a training class for my job. I used to be a Bridge Painter for local union 806.Anyway, my instructers told us to take a break outside when we got there a short time later I heard a boom! we all looked around but when we saw that it was nothing so we went back inside. As I was walking in I saw my instructers yelling there was an explosion in the world trade center. A short time later we came to realize that it was an aircraft. Then number WWT 2 was hit. We were told to leave, me and my best friend got into my car and we drove away. Five minutes into the drive we decided to stop and look. two minues after first tower fell down. I started yelling and screaming no no please no and started to cry. By the time I got home and saw my wife and kids crying then the 2nd. tower fell. About 5:30 6:00 O'clock the tv and radio station started saying all allied trades are to go and help with the rescue effort. We got there at 7:30pm it was a nightmare, but I had to be strong about this because we were helping with the rescue effort. but to my great sadness I was never going to see anybody alive ,although there were survivers I never got to enjoy that feeling or see the getting rescued. On wensday we uncovered our first casualty .the smell was bad and the victim was a male about 35 to 45 years of age had no shirt and was fased down . then they blew the horn (that was an indication that one of the buildings was going to colapse)but we stayed behind ...................... sorry can't tell anymore it's bringin me too many sad memories sorry.
