7:00 am I woke up, i turned the TV on, flipping through each channel expecting to find some cartoons. Well what i found was'nt anywere near cartoons. I watched the news. I remember flipping thru and almost every channel showed the airplane crash into the 1st Twin Tower then a new york minute later, another plane crashed into the other tower.. I was amazed! I went to school that day, and everyone in my class begged my teacher to watch the news. She finnaly agreed after a few hours. I was watching the news all day. I wanted to know what was going on, I was only about 8, I kept telling myself that everything would be alright, i was mortified. What had happened, in just a few short moments, affected the lives of all Americans.

I think that what should be remembered about September 11th is how brave America can be. How strong it could stand.

My feelings about the American flag have been changed. I have learned to respect it and its history. I have also learned that America was very patriotic.
