NMAH Story: Story

September 11, 2001 I was a junior at North High School in Evansville, Indiana. On this particular day I was home sick with mono. When I first learned of the events of 9/11 I was watching T.V. in the living room of my house. At first I thought that the plane had hit the WTC on mistake and I felt sad for all the people on board. Then, moments later, I found out that we were under attack. I will always remember the looks that the reporters had on their faces. They all looked so scared and you could tell just by the format of their newscast that their was definately a lot of confusion about what had just happened. I remember when the first building fell and even though I was sick I ran to tell my mom what had just happen. Then, together, we gawked at the T.V. as the events of September 11th unfolded
