NMAH Story: Story
When I woke up on September 11, 2001, I thought it would be a normal day. That was until I was going to school. My dad and I was listening to the radio when we heard about the Twin Towers. I wasn't sure about what was going on until I arrived at my Engilsh class and my teacher told all of us what happened in New York.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
My life really hasn't changed that much, except that I am scared to go onto airplanes. The summer of 2002, I went to visit relitives in another country. The flight there wasn't that bad, but the fly back to America was really scary. There were so many police men, but the other men with huge guns was the scary part.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think the bravery of the people is what should be remembered. Not just the bravery of all the people in New York or the firefrighters/policemen, but the bravery of all the people in America. I know we are all probably scared, but we never stopped living. Everyone continued to live their lives, not letting the terrors and fears take over.
NMAH Story: Flag
yes we did. I think now that our flag represents more than it use to before. It represents freedom and bravery.
