NMAH Story: Story
I left my morning class about 9:15am and went to the Student Union building at my university, I picked up some breakfast and walked into the lounge where 2 people were watching the events on TV. I sat down and watched, they then showed a replay of the second plane striking the tower, I was stunned. A larger group started to form around the TV. They then went to a split shot and showed the World Trade Centers and another building and someone remarked "oh no, what's that?" and I said "it looks like the pentagon." The group continued to grow, and aside from the occasional new commer to the group asking what was happening, it was nearly silent. After a while they went to a shot from a helicopter circling the site, after about 5 minutes I said "oh god, there's only one building" and then another replied "what?" and right away another replied "one of the towers must have collapsed, the helicopter has been circling the building so the tower isn't hidden behind the other tower." Slowly over time the group shrunk some, most people going back to their dorms since classes had, by then, been canceled. Even in the dorms most people had their doors open. TVs in everyone's rooms were all showing the same thing. I didn't matter what channel you turned to you always had the same topic.

NMAH Story: Flag
I wanted to fly an American flag after that but there was no where to buy one, all I had was the little one on my desk.
