I was online chatting with some friends in a Police and Fire chat room, when someone came on and the words... "Everyone go to your TV or Radio, the World Trade Center has been hit by a plane!!!!" I went to my tv and was watching the footage from the first tower, when all of a sudden the second tower was struck... I remember thinking, "Dear God, what in the world is happening?"

I am a volunteer fire fighter and rescue worker. I have a greater respect and appreciation for all rescue personel everywhere.... Life will never be the same...

We should remember, not what evil lurks around us, but the lives that were lost due to a tragedy that unfolded around them.....

Yes, I did... On my house, my mailbox, and my car. I feel such a tradgedy should not be the only reason people display the flag or the reason why people all of a sudden turn patriotic... We have freedom that only some people dream of, and should proudly fly it always......
