I walked around aimlessly most of the day, taking in images like this one. I remember there being so many strange and eerie encounters. When people ran into others they recognized from anywhere, they would often embrace and speak intimately, right in the middle of the street. The city became a giant back yard, full of noonday sleep walkers casting long shadows.
