Description
This is a satellite shot of New York on September 11, 2001. It captures the moment of the smoke billowing across the Lower Manhattan and Long Island area.
Personally, I thought the World Trade Center looked alright, not beautiful but pretty nice buildings. I thought a John Hancock or Sears Tower type building, with the black windows, would look better, more modern.
Still, I was pretty shocked that they were gone. I think Trade Center One might have collapsed right as I got out of the shower before going to school. A sad day, it was, and a bright future I do not see, but maybe my generation will come in time to right the wrongs and bring peace to a world of hate and disorder.
