September 11 Fund benefits for gay partners
Having heard Kenneth Feinberg's interview last Sunday on "Meet the Press", I was outraged at the way that gay partners left behind by those who perished in the September 11 tragedy are being treated. Coupled with the fact that illegal aliens in the same situation will be acknowledged, receive benefits, and rest assured that their employers will not be penalized. How do you expect the country as a whole to become more accepting, less hateful -- UNITED -- when the government can't treat people fairly?
