Anti-gay state policies are no excuse

It is unfortunate that the federal government has
used this pitiful argument to deny US citizens
benefits that will be paid to their peers simply
because the states still discriminate against LGBT
citizens.

This is nothing but legislated larceny. You force us
to pay the same taxes as heterosexuals but you deny
us the right to equal benefits from those taxes. Our
money is then used to subsidize the majority at our
expense.

This is a travesty. I hope everyone who reads this
message will go to the petition at
http://www.petitiononline.com/LGTaxes/petition.html
and register their protest against this outrage.
