911DA Story: Story
~How did you witness histroy on September 11th? Share your experience.
I was at work, Green Run Elementary, I was standing in the hallway waiting for my first grade class to show up. The first grade teacher and the English as a Second Language teacher asked me if I had heard what happened, I said no and they proceeded to tell me that a plane, suspected of being terrorist, had flown into the World Trade Center Tower. I was so socked I reached out and grabbed one of the teacher's arm. At that time I had to take my take first grade class in for their lesson and I had to put it behind me. After the class left I turned on the TV and watched the second plane crashing into the second tower.
~Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? if so, tell us how.
Although the incident has not affected me directly. There are subtle changes in the community and in my thinking that have resulted from this incident. Positive changes in patriotism and in the community and individual relationships.
