I still remember when I heard about the Pentagon at work. I tried to call my best friend Jamie. We had been best friends for 11 years. She was in the Navy and was stationed at the Pentagon. I tried calling her office all day. The phones were all out of order though. I was a nervous wreck at work that day and got absolutely nothing accomplished. After work, I called Jamies parents and thats when her sister told me that the plane had hit right where her office was. Jamie left behind a beautiful son who was 7 months old when she passed away. I will never forget my best friend in the world or the times we shared together. She was always there for me and we had grown up together. I miss her everyday and will always love her very much.
