911DA Story: Story
September 11
It all happened with a blink of an eye. Once the twin towers stood now there gone. There were two passenger planes that were hijacked and their target was the WTC. The planes hit the tower at approximately 8:45 and 9:02 am. This dramatic event was called September 11th because of terrorist attacks that happened that day. This day will be remembered in people's lives and generations to come. It was a terrifying moment for America and it's many other people. I was in Earth Science class at Barker High School when this event happened. Are class heard about the news from a nearby teacher who came in and told us a plane had hit the WTC building. So are teacher got the controller and turned on the monitor and the TV kept showing the 2nd plane hitting the north building of the trade center. Then they showed another plane crashing into the pentagon. While showing the pentagon attack on the bottom of the screen it said there was an evacuation in the White house. Then when I got to Global class our teacher Mrs. Capen had just talked about the life in Afghanistan and how the woman and children were treated. So then you have a person born in Saudi Arabia who lives in Afghanistan planning attacks on the U.S. All I have to say this was a disgusting and sick idea even if it was a joke or something. Osama Bin laden is on the same boat as Timothy Mcveigh the bomber of the Oklahoma City building. The same thing that happened to Mcveigh is going to happen to Osama as soon as we catch him. People are still mourning a loss of a relative or just a really close friend. America will recover with a lot more strength and people will have high integrity. I saw the north tower fall and there were people running, ash and dust along with papers flying through the air. People just barely got out and some of them did not make it out. There were fireman and policeman-helping people that either got cut and bleeding, burnt severely or were caked with dust and ash. The clean up took around 2 to 7months. There was a lot of rumble even people died in there. After they found people they buried them with American flags. There were not many survivors. Some of the people were in the elevators and on stairwells. People on the planes were make call to there loved ones telling them goodbye and that there plane was headed for the trade center. Also there were people in the buildings making calls telling to their families and shouting to get the attention of the fireman. The day after newspaper the trade towers that had plane sticking out of them.
