LC Story: Story
On September 11,2001 I was in my dorm room at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Mi. I woke up to the man on the radio saying there has been a terrible plane crash. That a plane has crashed into the World Trade Center. I did not think anything about it, just another plane crash I said to myself then went to my political science class. After class I arrived back at my dorm and my roomate told me that we were under attack and that is when I ran to the tv to see the second plane hit the second tower. We watched the news the rest of the day and I was so sad and scared. I wanted to be back home in Algonac, Mi with my family and loved ones. I just wanted to hold my loved ones. I could not just hop in the car and go home I had to stay at school and I was not able to drive for 3 hours home. So I did the next best thing. I called my family to say I love them. Before my next class started I found out that they closed the campus down for the day and all classes were cancelled. The first time my college has closed down. The rest of the day and week everyone talked of the terrorist attacks. This memory is forever stuck in my head.
LC Story: Memory
My strongest memory of that day is watching the towers collapse.
LC Story: Affects
I think the events have brought everyone closer as a nation.
