I heard something briefly on the radio, not knowing what had happened. We are an hour earlier than N.Y., here in Louisiana. I did not really know what happened until I got to work. We all listened to the radio and I snuck on the Internet to find out what was going on. I could not wait to get home to watch and learn what had happened. I sat glued to my TV all night and the next night. What a terrible thing to happen, and moreover, to have been planned. I do not follow the news much, but this was heavy on my mind. I do not know anyone personally who was in NY or on the airplanes, but I have been reading stories about the attacks. I read "Love, Greg and Lauren" (Lauren was in NY just walking into a tower when a fireball got her, and husband Greg tells, via email to his friends and family, her day-to-day recovery for the first 3 months) and I have 2 other books I bought to read regarding that fateful day. God bless all who have lost loved ones in any way, shape or form.
