When I first heard about the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon I was in middle school going from science to history. I had no idea of what was going on at that moment I only knew that a plane had crashed and hit one of the towers. I could tell that my teachers were worried and did not know what to do. It seemed like that was the longest day of my life. My friends and I talked about it and we did not know what to think.
When I finally got home I found my family glued to the T.V watching the news and I soon found myself doing the same thing. I was confused because it seemed like something I would see in a movie, but this was real.
This has changed my life because now I do not take anything for granted. I am happy and thankful for all the people I have around me that care about me. This is something that cannot be compared to anything else in history and I will remember this for the rest of my life.
