911DA Story: Story
I was driving to school on that fateful day and I heard on the radio something about a plane hitting a building somewhere. I didn't pay too much attention to it, unfortunatly. When I arrived at school I began to learn more about it as the day went on. The TVs were on in the cafeteria all day, in every class we talked about what had just happened. A sense of sadness and also a sense of revenge filled the school that day. Later on I played in a volleyball game. I thought they might reschedule this but they didn't and we played just like it was any old day. Before the game started they had a moment of silence for the events that took place earlier that day. The national anthem seemed to have a much more meaningful feel that day. Even though Utah is nowhere near New York it still felt all too close for comfort. Now three years after the events that took place it is still lingering and I don't think anyone will ever forget where they were or what they felt when they heard the news of 9/11. I know I never will.
