Campaign Poster. September 11, 2001 was also the scheduled day for New York City's Mayorial primary. This poster from the mayorial campaign of former Bronx Borough President Fernando Ferrer featured the New York skyline with the Twin Towers.

My son and I visited New York city for the 2003 NFL Draft. I asked if we could visit the WTC Site since we had arrived early on Friday. This image of the Iron Cross is probably the most vivid in my mind.
