Description
A couple of weeks after the 11th, I decided I needed to photograph the city. Each block was changed or seemed to have changed -- and I planned a walk up Fifth Ave. from 34th St to 57th St. I didn't make it to Fifth Ave. before I was struck by the assault of this Macy's video against a backdrop of the hazy Empire State building. American flags filled the avenues between the two.
