In 1998 James Burton and his wife Ann were married in the Valentine's Day Wedding Marathon on the roof deck of the WTC. There were "55 couples [110 people] to match the 110 stories of the building."

This picture was taken 7/4/01 and the poem was written on 9/11.

I took this July 4, 2001. It really shows the ominous nature for the towers....they seem to go on forever.

This B&W Photo (color did not seem appropriate) showed ground zero from a 300MM telephoto. Closer proximity was blocked by the military. It looks like London (or any other war torn city) after a bombing. A site I hope never to photograph again.
