Hi Everyone,
Thanks to cable access, I heard Feingold's 12:30pm speech at the Pyle
Center yesterday at about 8pm in the comfort of my own home.
Feingold praised the UN, but also spoke at length about its shortcomings.
He supports the Administration's bombing policies as self-defense, and was
awfully understanding about the difficulty getting facts on what's going on
over there.  Only one spontaneous question was asked--about the humanitarian
crisis, wouldn't Feingold support a stop to the bombing for that?  Feingold
said he might support a temporary stop, in order to deliver food.
It's sobering that even our best politicians can be so cold-hearted.
Still, it does tell us where we stand.  If we could get Feingold and others
to act on this, it would be a great victory.
I think our committee could help the Outreach Committee with Talking
Points possibly.
   See you tomorrow!
