The radio station I listen to in the morning usually tells jokes and so the first mention of the airplane in the Tower went unheeded. When it was repeated, I turned on the television, awaking my husband who said, "Terrorists". I could not fathom it until the second plane hit. I felt so very sorry for those unfortunate victims and their family but when the building(s) collapsed, it was unbelievable. I find it so hard that the time and energy was spent to strike down innocent people for their chosen way of life. I support retaliation to punish those responsible and to prevent others from plotting against the U.S. I am so grateful to be an American.
