I live in Australia and 9/11 changed our lives as we witnessed the twin towers in America (one of the safest and most greatly protected countries in the world) face a terrorist attack and to be honest, I think that scared the hell out of many Australians.

Through memorials such as this website and through the media, as well as remembering the event together with other Australians that have been affected by it.
