'Ghosts of the Present' by KC Moore represents the loss and smouldering anger of that morning.

My painting when through a very angry period, many works were never shown. I actually stopped painting altogether because I didn't want to put more hatred into existence. Then, I encountered a photograph of a native man dancing with joy and it changed my life. He had nothing in comparison but was caught in a moment of pure joy. From that day, I resolved to paint only the joy of life...we still have freedom.
