By Gerard R. McCarthy
From September 11, 2001 till the end of May 2002 I was a victim of Attempted Murder and Assault in the First Degree. Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda Soldiers Conspired an “Act of War” on the United States of America as per the President. On September 11th I was a Retired New York City Police Department Detective working as a Private Investigator in Manhattan. This Terrorist Group Al Qaeda flew planes into the World Trade Center /Twin Towers and caused massive death.
As a result of the above Terrorist Acts Osama Bin Laden and his Al Qaeda Soldiers caused serious physical injury and I have permanent disabling injuries to my internal organs. This Terrorist Organization intended to do these horrific acts and put me in grave risk of death.
I worked at ground zero, the Woolworth Building, and the American Red Cross Building on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge.
