I was sleeping and my husband woke me up telling me that the United States was being attacked. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to watch the news. I can not believe that anyone would do something soo terrible to another. I have never felt the same about my security since. It was a very sad and very eye-opening experience to the cruelity of terrorists. I have tried to keep up to date more on world events since the tragedy. I remember that for weeks afterward, there was a silence that just hung in the air wherever you went. People were mourning and in shock. It is sad that it took a tragedy like this for us to all unite as one and stand up for not only our own country but other countries that have been going thru terrorism for a long time. But atleast we can see it as something good that came for something terible.
