911DA Story: Story
The best way for me to describe my feelings is in a poem:
The Eagle Cried
Flying high above his nation as he fulfilled
his mighty job,
The eagle knew not what was to come the deaths,
the cries, the sobs.
While perched atop the glorious flag and proud
of what he owned,
A fearful cry and a tragic crash
from terrorists unknown.
He watched in broken sadness and a tear
from his eye did fall,
The sound he made pierced our ears,
such a heartbreaking call.
Four tears the eagle shed that day
while we thought it was the end,
But the eagle he would never fail,
and next day he flew again.
