911DA Story: Story
I heard my mail man drive up and went out to greet him as he delivered my mail. He was listening to a news broadcast on the radio that sounded serious so I asked him, "Has something bad happened"? His normally happy and friendly expression was grim as he told me that America was under attack. I turned on my television just as the second plane crashed into the WTC and my blood turned cold. I watched in horror for several minutes and as I realized how many babies weren't going to see their parents again I simply had to get my own babies near me. I picked my sons up from school and brought them home. That afternoon, we went to a neighborhood church. We sat with our arms around each other and held on like we've never held on before. Our lives were changed forever. We don't go to bed or leave our home without letting each other know how much we love each othe. Every person, every event, every thing that touches our lives now has new meaning to us.
